fx 8320 bottleneck gtx 970?

So I recently got a msi gtx 970 when I install it I realize that I stutter on some of my games like crysis 3, battlefield 4, watch dogs, and ryse. I don't see a reason why it would bottleneck to the point where I would get 0 fps for a split sec. I saw videos where the 8320 worls fine. btw I upgraded from a 270x, I tried my best delete all of amd drivers and install the newest drivers for nvidia.

No bottlenecks , FX8320+GTX970 should be a solid combi.

Did you OC the FX8320?

As Kaliz said, there shouldn't be a bottleneck in any game, I'm running my overclocked GTX 970 with an overclocked FX 6300 and the only bottlenecks I get are in benchmarks.

Nope, won't bottleneck.

Alsao, FX 8 core + 990FX chipset motherboard scales well in Crossfire / SLI if you ever need that.

You say you trried to be delete old gpu drivers, how did you do this? If there are remnants of the AMD drivers, they need to be removed.

I used one of their own uninstall program that delete basicly most if not everything. However I just uninstall windows and recover to factory condition ill see how it goes when i get home

Hopefully that will fix the problem.

alright I think the gpu is at fault here. Idk why, but it crashes the games and give me the error"drivers not responding and is covering". Please tell me this is just an overclock issue because i overclock it to 1.5. I still have 2 weeks to rma the card so please answer before that deadline

That does sound like an unstable overclock.
