hey can i ask you guys something

. when i run prime95 test cpu multiplier drop x7 from x19 in 2 minutes. When the temperature of the processor is 67 degrees and the core temperature is 60 degrees, the multiplier drops. i disable all power saving options (c1e,cool 'n quiet,c6 state vs) but i keeps going down every 2 minutes. i changed thermal paste yesterday.

so, how can i disable cpu's heat protection. more warming does not matter for me just it keep runing to x19

sorry for bad english :(

i'm checking with cpu-z,core temp and aida64 extreme they are all says core temp is 59-60 degrees. core temp's max heat says 80 degrees is it's max temp. I think it's a general information for all cpu's not special for mine

MSI 970a g-43

This is a similar board to yours, with a similar CPU.

DO NOT turn off the protections. In fact your board has very poor quality 4+1 VRMs, you need some cooling over them for it to be normally stable.

The msi g43 & g46 purposefully force a false temp reading to throttle the cpu's if the vrm's come unde too much stress.

With an 8 core chip that happens under 80%+ loads constantly.

You should re-enable cool & quiet for starters, disabling it is running your cpu hotter & with more voltage at low loads for absolutely nothing.

Investing ANY money in that platform is a waste. Save up your money a bit and get a Ryzen 3 and motherboard and ram, it will demolish that 8320 in everything.
