FX-8320 normal factory clock speed + Asrock Axtu

hello,
I bought the FX-8320 a couple months ago and I got Asrock Axtu with it because i have an asrock motherboard. this programm can do a shitload of things to over and down clock ur cpu in the last couple weeks my temperature of my cpu went up, from a 30C normal to 74C i went and changed the cooling paste and it dropped from 74 to 40 but when i opened ASTu to see my fan speed and temperatures i saw that my frequentie multiplier and HT radio was setup diffrent than when i first got the cpu do any of u guys know the normal clock settings for my cpu? that would be great.

Hello,

FX-8320 has a base clock of 3,5 GHz and a turbo clock of 4GHz; the default BCLK is 100MHz, so it translates in x35 multiplier (ratio) for all cores and x40 multiplier for turbo mode.

so how should i set it? because i have no idea what HT ratio and those other stuff mean and what the voltage has to do with it 😛

Really you should just uninstall it mate - set it to default and should drop back to stock.

Untick start & auto apply on windows.
Fsb (CPU frequency on that table should be 200)
CPU mtiplier should be 17.5
Ht should be 11

That'll take you back to the stock 3500mhz 8320 speeds.

I am sorry about that brainfart... I suddenly forgot AMD uses 200MHz FSB since Slot A times...
