Hi,

I wanna change my G3258 for a better cpu because im cpu limited but when i change this cpu my mother will get it(so new board no choice both cpu choice) so if i upgrade to i5 it cost me 290(with taxs) and the FX with the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0(there's a board cheaper and good too?) cost me 309$

Which one sould i take? I play game frequently(GTA V,AssasinCreed:4/Unity,BF4, and some mmo like Star Trek Online and extract many WinRar files...

Thanks for help

If you keep the z97-c for yourself, you can pair the g3258 with a b85 board (~$50) and get the I5. Better performance in games and most other applications, for extracting very large winrar files or rendering edited videos the fx 8350 will be a bit stronger though.
