Hi I have a 8350 with 16gb of 16mhz ram and I replaced my 1050 ti for a rx570 8gb. I installed battlefield v and set it to high setting for the most part and get under 50-60 frames. later I tried setting it to medium and set frame limiter to 60 and now get 59-60 constant. I have stock cpu and GPU speed. 570 was set to taking through msi gaming app. should my frames look like this or should I be able to run high settings with the new GPU at 60 fps?

Do you think that getting the ryzen 5 2600 and some fast ram will be enough to even things out. I probably won't upgrade cpu for a couple months as I need cpu, mobo, and ram. Should I overclock the 8350 in the meantime ? I have water cooling and on stock clock I get no more than 38-45 °C. thanks

Yes, the Ryzen 5 2600 is a great CPU. And with those temps and the water cooling, of course you can overclock that 8350.

Ok I didnt really overclock before but I'll look I into overclocking it to like 4.4 or 4.5 ghz. And I'll use it for a few months until I can afford buying parts for the ryzen build. Also the 570 being bottlenecked for a few month wont affect its performance once I upgrade right ?

No, a bottleneck doesn't affect the GPU itself, it is just that it can't work at its full potential due to another piece of hardware, in this case, your processor. Your video card will perform exactly as it should after the upgrade.

What's the GPU usage %?

If it's already nearing 90-100%, like my GTX 970 is in BFV, the CPU isn't holding it back (although it might if you're doing multiplayer and there's a lot of action around you). The game just beats up GPUs pretty well - but it's pretty.

Leave Task Manager or MSI Afterburner open in the background while gaming, and then check CPU usage %/GPU usage %.
