FX 8350 core failure without OC??

as you can see at the picture, after running prime 95 blend test for 5 minutes the 8th core failed, i havent mess with bios settings, they are all on default settings, my mobo is asus m5a97 r2.0
whats wrong? do you recommend any settings at bios or i should return the processor back?

Did you see a temperature spike during the test? CPU-Z isn't always the best with AMD processor temps. However if this is a new processor and you can exchange it I would do that. It either was failing when you got it, or a temp spike killed it. It can happen even at stock.

no temperature is fine, right now im running another prim95 blend test for 20 minutes and its fine until now, here is a picture

Ok so you got a core failure again at 20 minutes now? Without overclocking and with good temps (and those all look perfect to me) I would call that a bad chip. I'd exchange it if you can.
