I'm planning to get this, cheaper than i5/i7 and people say it'll be much useful later on cuz on next gen games.
so my question is, Would I see noticeable Electricity bill increase? also an fps increase? currenty i'm on i3-530
also aware of changing mobo

Solution

Depends on the game. Some I got +10fps, some were +20fps, some quad-heavy games (Dragon Age I think) I got a whopping +65fps (96fps vs 162fps).

A)Not unless you game 24/7.

B)Yes.

You can save a little money and go with the 8320. It can easily overclock to 8350 speeds.

If you want to overclock beyond 8350 speeds, you will need an aftermarket cooler...and you will pull more power. (Still don't think you would notice on your electric bill)

do you think it would be better if I go i5 3570 non k? it has lower power consumption at benchmarks says also better performance.

I have that chip and its fantastic. Uses almost 90w less power under load (it's not just about cost but heat build-up during summer & fan noise during heavy gaming sessions). Despite being a non-K, you can OC them to 4.2GHz with a Z77 motherboard.

Next-gen 8-core optimised games run just as fast on a 4-core Intel as they do on an 8-core AMD:-

I upgraded from a i3-530 (great chip) to an i5-3570 and haven't regretted it for one second. i5's are also much faster than the FX-8350 for lesser well threaded games (Skyrim, etc):-

I'm running one at 4.8Ghz now. Never had problems with it and everything runs smooth without any framedrops + I'm also running the XFX 7970 Ghz ed.
Easy overclockable but you really need a new cooler! I bought the h100i. It does a great job, 35-45°C on full load.
If you're going for the fx, it's also recommended to go for an AMD gpu.

But one thing I noticed: I was playing Crysis 3 Maxed out. Everything went smooth (50fps) untill I put on the filters then I got huge framedrops untill 30fps.
My friend was running the same with a 3570K + GTX 680 and didn't have any framedrops. But I'm running BF4 maxed on 65-75fps.

Anyways, it's really a good cpu, If you really want a good price/performace cpu, then you should really go for this one. And don't forget to go for an aftermarket cooler!

I had my old i3-530 OC'd to 3.9GHz (Clarkdale's were the last unlocked i3), and upgraded to an i5-3570 OC'd to 4.2GHz. Despite a 10% difference in clock, absolutely everything was faster. Typically 30% better single threaded performance in some games, and +50-100% in some quad-core heavy games. Amazingly, the i5-3570 actually uses less power than the old i3...

I did look at the AMD FX's, but the combination of the i5's 90w less power and up to 40% better performance in many other games I still occasionally play (Oblivion, Skyrim, Starcraft 2, etc), the i5 won out. Haven't looked back.

Still a very good choice!
All my friends are running i5's. And I have to say, the fx consumes like a 30yrs old muscle car compared to Intel haha. But I still like it :)
