ok how should i try i have never used amd products in my life so i go ahead and bought amd products both gpu and cpu and i was building a gaming pc so i spend a lot + it costs more if u live in India 100 $ will cost u 125$ or more
anyway back on topic so i bought it
and i am facing a lot of problems i cant even game T_T when it cost me 1330 $
to build this pc

so when ever i game or even try to covert a vedio to mp4 or some other format my cpu goes to 90 to 95 C T_T
my cpu is running on stock clock with the stock cooler which came with amd
my gpu runs hot too but not too hot as my cpu so i am not complaining
i already knew amd runs hot but i didn't except this hot
ok so here are gpu and cpu temperatures on idle

cpu~

http://prntscr.com/1djbay

gpu~

http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/13/07/04/5x.png

NOTE : cpu cooler is running on full speed and my room temperature is around 33c and i have already installed three 120mm fans in my case.

ok does stock cooler is this shitty ? or i need to change thermal paste ?

+ i did try it before to change thermal paste but the stock cooler is stick too damn hard to the cpu wont come off i don't know how to get it off without damaging the cpu

**so if u know how to get it off please tell me and thanks in advance**

also if u think i should buy an after market cooler

i am looking forward to liquid coolers as if i buy a air cooler it will block my ram slots + i have high profile ram

i am thinking to buy h80i

so i have 1 question more will its radiator fit in my case ?
cause its radiator size is 120mm x 152mm x 38mm

and my case has only three 120 mm fan location
which are 120mm x 25 mm

one of is in front of case so i can not use it

other one is in the side of the case and i can not use it either cause my gpu is blocking it and radiator wont fit there

the last spot remains in the back of the case so will it fit there ?
http://prntscr.com/1djfqn

and do u guys think h80 i will keep my cpu cool ?

thanks for reading it all and helping me
i am hoping to get your reply soon

and

my system specifications are

motherboard - GA-970A-DS3

ram(8GB) [1600mhz] - Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9

processor - fx 8350

harddrive - samsung 1tb 7200 rpm

gpu - SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB GDDR5

case - cooler master elite 310

supply box - cooler master Thunder 500W

yeah u are right,i overlooked that. The ds3's power phase is too low to handle the 8350 and heating issues would be there.
To the op, either change the mobo or try to keep it somewhat cool with a cooler and applying new thermal pest

so does that means i need to buy a new motherboard and a new aftermarket cooler ?

oh guys, stop this.
To the OP, it is upon you to select the best answer and if possible get a CM hyper 212 EVO cooler, i would recommend it highly as u are using a high-end cpu like the 8350.
Well ur idle temps were like 46C at 0.9V, right? have u disabled the turbo boost? it raises the voltage to 1.5V. did u notice a huge drop(say about 30-35C) temp. drop?

yes i just disabled turbo core
i guess it is amd cool and quiet and my pc is beeping like sh!t
http://prntscr.com/1dn24u

turn off the cool n quiet in the bios. i doubted earlier that the temp. will go that down after disabling the turbo core. the voltage came down from 1.5 to 1.4 which is a negligible drop.
keep updating and get a cpu cooler, it could somewhat help.

ok so should i disable cool and quiet and use my pc ?
u see it increased temperatures right ?
ok so how do i keep updating ?
and evo 212 is not available as it really a good cooler ?
but 212 x is available should i buy it ?

before turning off cool and quiet ~ http://prntscr.com/1djbay

after turning it off http://prntscr.com/1dn24u

and as u can see voltage increased after turning off cool and quiet

Getting a new board isn't what i meant, and turning off AMD Cool nd Quiet won't help much. It actually helps to keep the voltages low during idle and increases as per load. If you get an aftermarket cooler it will definitely get those temps down, but even with the stock cooler the temps shoud not be this high.
So i would like you to check a few things,
Is your BIOS updated to the latest version? If no, then please upgrade it.

If BIOS is latest version, then manually set the CPU speed/clock in bios to 4.0 Ghz by adjusting multiplier.
Then Manually set your CPU Voltage(VCORE) to 1.33V.
After that boot into windows, and then use 'Prime 95' software to run you CPU at full load, and observe your temps.
Prime 95 Download: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Home-Education/Prime95.shtml

If you need help in setting CPU Speed and Clock, Use this guide:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1140459/bulldozer-overclocking-guide-performance-scaling-charts-max-ocs-ln2-results-coming

well it reversed. sry my mistake,u can turn on the cool n quiet.
are all the 8 cores of ur cpu activated?
bro, the mobo u have, it's not good and therefore u cannot expect much cooling performance, the best u can do is get an aftermarket cpu cooler which i posted earlier and u would be somewhat fine. uif u can afford to get a new mobo then get it or if u cannot afford it then get the cooler for now. Check the processor temp. with the cool n quiet turned on.

If you can get a 990FX or 990X board, it would help, really because only those chip sets were properly designed to hanlde FX 8 core CPU's. The Asrock 990FX Extreme3 is cheap and highly popular, What i am planning to buy is the next version of that board 990FX Extreme4.

But i do know that it is a lot more money to spend, so before doing that buy the after market cooler first Hyper 212 Evo if you are ok with Air cooling, otherwise get the H80i if you do have that much budget for a cooler.
My suggestion is indeed the Hyper 212.

With that new cooler, check the temps. The CPU temp should not exceed 62'C(Thats what AMD Says) while on load.
Please do not continue using the CPU if hits 80'C and more on load, because it will simple degrade your CPU.

You see i hav the 8320, and my idle temps are 19 - 22'C
Load Temps are 35 - 40'C. And that too with stock cooler. So basically your current setup should perform better.

yeah i too was suggesting him to get the same cooler, it would bring the temps down to around 60C. He said that he cannot afford a H80i so how come does he get to afford a 990Fx extreme 3, it's costly in india. The 990fx boards are costly in india.

I am from India Bro... 990FX Extreme3 is available at Rs 8,000 in local stores. Extreme4 is available for Rs 10,000.
It all depends on the money you have. :)
The best thing for the OP is to just get the cooler, and continue using the Rig.

yeah i'm telling that too 'bro', 990fx extreme 3 is rs.8000 which is not at all cheaper and u sid it is rs8000 which varies from store to store and from city to city. in which city do u live?
To the OP, i think u should save the money for a better mobo and get the cooler for now, u temps would hover around 60C.

flipkart's prices were overpriced but there has been recent drops in prices and they have become cheaper while comp. with the recent increase in price in the market. However, the extreme 3 is a good mobo but it has 4+1 power phase which is not good.

Yes evo 212x will do the job, also get some decent thermal paste.

And about power phases, The additional Phases are typically spit into channels and 'real advantage' is lifespan.
More Phases = Less Load per channel, and to a more limited extent lower heat. The +2 refers, in most instances, to the phases dedicated for the DIMM slots/RAM with the remainder to the CPU.
So in extreme3 it is 4+1 power phase, that is 4 for CPU and 1 RAM which isnt very good, where as in extreme4 it is 8+2, which means 8 for CPU and 2 for RAM. Hence extreme4 is better.

THE software you are using to record your CPU temperature has a bug. If your CPU really was hitting 90 Degrees you would feel the heat from the heatsink and it would do an automatic system shutdown. To keep your temps down purchase an aftermarket thermal paste and also get a better CPU cooler whether it be a water cooler (h80i) or air cooler (212 Evo CPU cooler).

Thermal paste I recommend> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arctic-Cooling-MX-4-Thermal-Compound/dp/B0045JCFLY

any thermal pest would do it, arctic silver one's are very expensive in india. Get the Cooler Master IC essentials E2 as i recommended, u shall get it within 550rs. I am using it since my processor was overheating and don't have any more issues.
