Not at all u can see latest games like watchdogs and bf 4 wants an 8core CPU don't go for i5
If u r a devoloper like me u can go for i5 but I think 8350 is better and if u'll see benc
hmarks 8350 beats even initial i7s ie 2nd and 3rd gens in gaming for more go to game-debate.com and click on image of watchdogs which is saying can you run it fill and see specs it is worlds most specs demanding game it shows what fixture games wants

Nope, sorry but no way is an FX-8350 beating an i7 in gaming even overclocked. If your doing heavy integer workloads (video encoding being one) then yes the FX-8320/50 shines but there are still only 4 FPU units in the chip which are still 30+% slower than Intels FPU performance. Therefore hands down the i5/i7 wins period. There are what 2-3 games that can take advantage of AMD architecture, I hardly consider that notion enough to say 8 core is future proofing.

OK for developers we need per core performance to use c++ and java fastly and i5 does it nicely
