Fx cpu shows as 4/8 cores mb problem...?

I have a ya-78lmt-usb r2 with a 8350 it shows in Windows it’s a 4/8 core. I know they have 2 cores per bus but is it just my motherboard that makes it show as hyperthreading or something else

Windows 10? Thats normal, there are 4 modules each module has 2 cores, those cores share resources, not unlike hyperthreading.

No it is.
Window 10 is being smarter by considering them hyperthreaded/virtual, it will mainly force stuff on one core per module keeping higher performance and as need be load stuff onto the second core which shares some resources with the first.
