Hi,Im making a new build. It has a gtx960 and 8gb of ram.I was just wondering what cpu will be better for me,i have the choice of an i3(4130-4160),an athlon(860k),or fx(6300-8320).I will use the pc mainly for web browsing and 1080p gaming(far cry4,battlefield4).From time to time I also use Photoshop,After Effects and Cinema4D,and also want to start editing videos. So productivity is also a main factor.I know these processors arent the best in doing all that but what is the best I can do for this money.Overclocking does not play a huge role, neither does power consumption. If you could suggest a nice motherboard to go with one of these I would appreciate it

I personally recommend the fx 8xxx series. These are easily overclock-able to increase gaming performance when you need it, and the 8 cores will really help with video editing/rendering.

For editing + gaming you'll want the FX-8320, however it's strongly recommended to OC it as much as you can, it will greatly improve your min FPS granting a smoother gaming experience overall, if you choose to OC it go ahead and buy a Coolermaster Evo 212 or another good aftermarket cooler, it will truly be worth it.

If you can get a H97 or Z97 mobo then i3 all the way, you can upgrade to broadwell in the future as it will be on the same socket.

Thanks for the quick replies,so I was searching online for similar situations and a lot of people said the i3 because of hyperthreading and how it helps in render speeds,I undrestand hyperthreading but I still dont think it has a huge impact. But what you guys said made me choose the fx 8320,I would like to get the 8350 bcuz its legendary for its performance per dollar and its speed, but prices in my country(Croatia) are waay higher so I will take the 8320.I think it should be close, and it saves me a lot of money. Thanks for the help! And I got to ask, should I go for an 990fx or 970 chipset mobo,I know I can overclock on the 970 but a lot of people said to use 990fx,I personaly dont think its that more useful, but I would still like to hear your opinion!
