Will the fx6300 and r9 270x reach 60fps on ultra on watch dogs?
If not how many fps will it do on ultra

CPU wise, the FX 6300 is capable of FPS in the 50-60 range with a high end GPU setup.

GPU wise, depending on details and AA level the R9 270 is capable of FPS in the 40-60 range with a high end CPU setup.

Combine both the FX 6300 and R9 270 and you have a midrange setup capable of averages in the 40-60 FPS range on high.


Having said all of this, you must remember that Watchdogs as released is poorly optimized. Even high end systems are struggling with it. Hopefully it will be patched and improved further, but this remains to be seen.

And after seeing the timing of Tom's tests compared to some other tests I'm inclined to believe a post-release patch actually hurt performance.
