Guys, I need a help to know what problem can be having.
I had a card, PowerColor R7 260X, and moved to GTX 970 ASUS STRIX OC. The difference between the two plates is up to twice as much, so soon expect a considerable performance when switching GPU. But I did not get good results at the Games there FPS peaks with 200 places and with more buildings, for example, down to 40/50 ... in CS: GO reaches 100/200 but usually is 105 fps. In the test FurMark the score got 55fps. I've done the test with graphics on low, I disabled the quality properties, took the VSYNC and etc .. and regarding the properties low / medium / hight there is not much difference in the end fps to be something that can improve considerably.
I know my FX6300 processor features bottleneck with this video card that is currently OC to 4.3 .. My question is whether my GPU may be faulty or other peripherals do not carry it very well? I was thinking of switching to FX 8530 but because it is a technology that is getting old I think that would spend money, and also suspect that my motherboard is bad .. I do not want to make any changes without being sure of the result that I can have. Please help me! I want a PC that runs quiet games nothing very top outsized but get comfortable .. no drop FPS ..

I went from also r7 260x but to GTX 1060, and i can say you i got huge fps boost in all of my games compared to 260x. Yes fx 6300 will bottleneck in some games that need strong CPU. Geting FX 8350 on that motherboard is not good choice.Better wait and save money and see what will Zen have to offer when it comes out.
