Hello Toms,
I've been playing with my 6300 and am currently stable at 4.5ghz.
The trouble is, I am getting different temp readings depending on which software I use.
I have Core Temp, Corsair Link, AMD Overdrive, and ASRock Extreme Tuner installed, and I've typically used ASRock as my guidelines as it has the most accurate idle temps (29-33c) whereas the other programs give me false readings as typical of Vishera chips.
Currently while running P95, I am at
50c on: Corsair Link, AMD Overdrive, and Core Temp. On ASRock, I am at 64c. Is ASRock giving faulty readings, or should I dismiss what it is saying?
FX6300@4.5ghz 1.300v
990fx Extreme9
Ballistix Sport 2x4gb 1600
NB@stock vcore+freq
H100i currently on quiet mode. When switched to performance mode, all temps drop.
Thanks,
Eyedeology
EDIT: HWMonitor Pro is giving the same readings as the other three. It seems only Extreme Tuner is out of sync
