I have an FX8300 CPU and I want to upgrade it. The i3-9100f would be good to go? Or can you recommend a good cpu in that budget price range?
And my GPU is a GTX1060 6gb.

For an upgrade you need to change the whole platform including a memory upgrade to ddr 4.

My advice would be a AM4 platform with a budget cpu, because you can easily upgrade the cpu again later on the same motherboard.

If budget is tight you could downgrade the cpu to a 2600, 1600AF or one of the new options like the 100$ 3100. My mainboard choice would stay the same to allow for further upgrades. If you like get faster memory up to 3600.

I know. I have already 2x8gb Hyperx Fury rgb 3466mhz Rams.
I only need a new motherboard and a CPU.
The budget is around 210-230$.

I have rams, just as I wrote. Unfortunately, the 3100 is around 130$ in my country and the 1600AF is not purchasable at all. The i3-9100f or the r3-3200g would be a big jump from the fx-8300? Both of them are 73$ now.

They would be an upgrade over your current cpu,BUT those cpus are starting to get pretty weak already. The 9100f is the better one of the two, but 4 cores and no SMT is a cpu that you will likely want to upgrade again next year. Not worth it especially if you factor in a decend motherboard, because if you go with B360 you will regret it the second you are trying to run a 9700k on it next year.

This is my choice, because you get 6 cores 12 threads and a solid upgrade path to 3. and presumably 4. Gen Ryzen on the same motherboard. Maybe check Facebook or ebay for local deals on a used 2600. Many people did upgrade to 3.gen by now. Might be possible to score one for 80-100 $.

With comet lake coming soon AMD is not the way to go when performance is looking better. i5 with hyper threading 6 core 12 threads looks really good buying a last gen amd imo is a bad move

I personally am not recommending future-cpus. I tried to answer the question with parts available now. We dont know what comet lake brings to the table, we dont know availability at launch and not the price.
I will recommend comet lake if it hits the market and if it really is any good. And I got my doubts.
Other then just pushing power consumtion to reach another 100 mhz over 9. Gen and finally (thank god) smt on all chips I see nothing new to this refresh of 14 nm.

I cant argue with what you recommend. The launch of Comet is so close it cant hurt to wait. AMD will always be a budget platform IMO. Having had many AMD cpus they just dont cut it in games. The 3000 series have made great gains but still havent be able to lead the way as far as single core performance. It took them 3 generations of Ryzan before they are basically on par with Intel. Im not impressed AMD needs to do something really special for me to switch back to them.
