Hello guys

system:
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 with last update.
AMD FX 8350 OC @ 4.4/4.5/4.6/4.7/4.8
NOCTUA NH-D15
AMD R9 390 OC @1092/1150
Ram 8 Gb Gskill 1866 OC @2133
NB OC @ 2600
HT OC @ 2400
PSU CM 750w +80 gold
HDD x 2 500 GB WD Blue
SSD x 1 120 GB OCZ
FANS: 4 -140mm(D15 INCLUDE) 1-200mm.
NO LEDS.

CNQ OFF
C6 OFF
C1E OFF
HPC OFF
APM OFF
EPU OFF

Problem:
So with help of HW monitor, CPU-Z and AMD overdrive :
Stress test 20 min 68C max, but we all know that stress test its just a stress test sooooo,
With 2 hours playing PUBG @4.7 and min:1.380 and max:1.404V on core.
(Load-Line Calibration, or LLC is enable because with off or auto OC not working no matter what Voltage i give.)
i hit max 54C, in the room with ambiance temp 32-34C (Yeah its a hell i know).
MB get around 38C.
GOOD BOY NOCTUA!!

And after i try to go for Ram @2400 i fill like a pc get slowed, yeah because MB not support it, so i went back to correct 2133, and then a strange things get started :

PC starts freezing
randomly, with load ,without load its just freez, restart button just reset system but not boot a MB bios, only Mr.Power button is helps. Back to windows, play some games, browse youtube, its just randomly freez no specific conditions.

And i went back to reset bios to default setting, so i can start from the beginning, BUT!
(drama silence)...........
now i cannot get 2600 NB or 2400 without hitting it with 1.4V. and even if i hit its still sometimes
freez.
4.4 .4.5 4.6 .4.7 No matter freez freez freez always freez.

SO POWERFULL OVERCLOKERZZZZ!!! GIVE ME YOU WISDOM!!!!
SHOW ME THE WAY TO HELL STEPS OF OC!!!!

Problem: PSU-POWER? MB? NB? CPU? or HT? (Nah just kiding)?

"Problem: PSU-POWER? MB? NB? CPU? or HT? (Nah just kiding)? "
No, you are not kidding you are overdoing it big time.
RAM at 2400, what do you think it is, DDR4 ? FX 8350 (and all Vishera) top at 1866MHz and anything over that nets 0.0001% overall performance but brings 100% trouble.
Multiplier + voltage (including LLC) adjustments is quite enough, if you are doing anything with FSB, make sure that PCIe bus is set manually to 100MHz.

THANK YOU MY GRANDMASTER!
Hmm it was on auto...i will try it when i get home, do you have any more ideas?
For example i give up on 2133 and get back to org. 1866 , what if i will still get freez and other stuff?
What could be the problem?
Because i not sure but probably i already try 1866 and oc @4.5 and i got a same resoult.

I had my 8350 at 5GHz but 1.505v and liquid cooler. Problem is with VRM which will run hot at over 1.45v and if you insist on higher you may need a fan over it.
At 1866MHz RAM you can have much better memory latency so it kinda evens it performance wise to say nothing about stability.

OOO Grandmaster
So I try it,

CPU @ 4.4
PCI @100
RAM @ 1866 original ram speed.
But when I OC NB its still get freezing.

I try HT and NB @ auto, and OC the CPU to 5 with 1.47V, work stable without any problem.
I even play pubg.
But with my room ambiance temp its become hotter and can hit 74C in the stress test. in pubg, sometimes 56C sometimes 64C.

Anyway, its not a problem I went back to 4.5.

I change thermal paste on NB.
It's still hot, but, at least heat transfer its better.
Cannot get 2600 NB without freezing.
Could be something else?

Did you reset CMOS/BIOS ? You can also try to flash newest BIOS and if it already is newest version flash same one again.
To make sure CMOS is cleared all the way to factory settings:

Turn off the power at PSU or unplug it.
Press start button for few seconds
Find CLRTC connector on the MB and move little connector from pins 1 and 2 to 2 and 3.
Take battery out for half an hour.
Return to pins 1 an 2 and replace the battery.
