I have two choices.

DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)

Voltage 1.35V

Couldn't I just overclock the 2400 memory due to it's lower voltage to achieve similar results as the 3200 memory (1.2v < 1.35v) and save $90.00?

Over am i missing something here....?

2400mhz CL15 will probably be SK Hynix or worse chips.

3200mhz CL14 will be Samsung chips.

hence the price difference.

XMP is basically factory overclocks, so no you probably wont be able to push it to 3200mhz, not even close, all DDR4 ram runs at 2133mhz (SPD) and then to put it simply, its factory overclocked and programmed into an XMP profile.
