Reminds me of Phoronix' testing with MRDIMM-8000 on Granite Rapids:
As I mentioned at the time, he's using a generic server chassis without the usual airflow guides and most disturbingly, a 360mm radiator just upwind of the memory. So, his baseline setup won't reflect the average server, which will usually have active DIMM cooling by means of airflow guides and ducts from the intake fans. Still, his test might be relevant to anyone doing a homebuild of a Xeon 6 server, workstations, or similar.
