G.Skill or Corsair RAM?

Yes, the G.Skill kit has tighter timings and is the faster of the two.
Both are really expensive if you are not using your CPU's IGP though.
You would probably be better off with a 1866/2133MHz kit that costs half as much.....

The GSkill 2400s are great sticks, I've got the 32GB set on my IB 3570K (4.7) and they are great, I went up to their 2666 for my Haswell....great for multi-tasking, video, imaging, VMs, CAD, anything that really uses DRAM, if looking simply for gaming, go 1866 or so

I'll be gaming more often than not, but I also do video editing on the side. Not super intensive, but I figured these might help out with that.
