Looking for ram upgrade, looking at 3 cheap G.Skill ram sticks
2x16gb | CL16 (16-18-18-38)
DDR4-3200
on all 3 of them^
Flare X series, AEGIS, RipjawsV
Is there any differences other than the heatsinks on them? Or should I just grab the cheapest?

Solution
There is a considerable difference depending if the Gskill kit you have is either Intel designed or AMD.
Differences being chipset, Timings and voltage.
Samsung Bdie for AMD and Hynix for Intel seem to work best.

Best is to choose a kit that have been tested by the Motherboards manufacturer and listed on their QVL.
If ultimate performance is required then you will pay much more for kits that have higher frequency and closer timings.
If general computing and moderate game play is the main requirement then save your money and get a kit at 3200 cl16.

Although AMD and Intel adhere to JDEC standards, anything above 2666Mhz are considered OC ram and usually require a change in Bios timings and voltage to get to their correct SPD.
