Does G skill? make any DDR4 ram under 3.9 mm? I know corsair has Vengeance LPX but Im kinda fond of G skill so wana stick with them but need ram with height 33 mm or shorter or it's not going fit in my system.

Solution
Your title asks about asus ram, the text about g.skil.
G.skil has Aegis ram at 31.2 cm.
G.skil has other ddr4 ram with no heat spreaders like the value line.
Heat spreaders are mostly marketing anyway.
ahh okie thanks for for the title error naming call out I was thinking about the motherboard when I typed that..lol and yea I looked up Aegis on new egg and found them feel free to keep adding specific G skill models (any quad sets also? Aegis seem to be dual channel only) for me to look up. It be a week before I start ordering anything so still working on finalizing items also fixed the title to G skill. Although for sake of a pool of options I'll look at any ram under 33 mm anyone can recommend from any brand that also has a good 4 x 8 32 gig DDR4 quad set.

What is the make/model of your motherboard?
The usual ryzen and intel motherboards are dual channel operation even if they may have 4 ram slots.
It would usually be more cost effective for a 2 x 16gb kit.

If your motherboard is a workstation type, that is another matter.
Regardless, one needs to verify ram compatibility carefully.
Not all DDR4 ram is compatible with ryzen for instance.

Why do you need 33mm or less?
If it is to clear cpu coolers, there are some very good coolers like the noctua NH-D15s that are available without that restriction.

and yes im still sorting it out kinda got the motherboard locked down ASUS ROG Maximus X Code motherboard (it is dual channel so yea ignore the quad) in this tower https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133194 with Corsair H100i aio cooler the radiator now sits like almost on top my Trident X F3-2400C10D-16GTX ram (had to take the fins off) so ima basically swapping motherboard/ram/cpu cpu being Intel Core i7-8086K Coffee Lake so only issue im having now is the ram height. the ram not gona run any faster then 2666 with a 6 core it seems so dual channel low height under 33 mm with the lowest CAS latency for DDR4 seems to about 13/14ish? (my system now is AMD FX-9590 Sabertooth 990FX/Gen3 R2.0 motherboard with the before started ram it's having issues making me have to under clock it just to run so decided now a good time for a upgrade)

Your motherboard will support ram speeds up to 4133. The 2666 number is what the motherboard will boot at.
Once in the bios, you use the XMP settings to overclock your ram to the maximum speed spec.
The intel ram controller is excellent, it anticipates and feeds the cpu from any speed ram well.
As a practical matter there is not much benefit to ram faster than 3200-3600.
Faster ram is accompanied by higher cas numbers, negating much of the speed difference.

Your case can support an air cooler up to 170mm.
If you install a noctua NH-D15s, you will have no ram clearance issues.
In addition, it will be cheaper than a H100I, cool just as well, be quieter, more reliable, keep your parts cleaner, and will not leak.

hm seen another post here that shows the g skill trident ram as 3.9mm http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2280491/skill-trident-compatibility-noctua-d15.html if that is true then the ram needs to be under 3.9 mm instead of 33 mm.

I took the tower apart just to see how tight the current trident ram is and it seems the clearance was within 1 mm or so from hitting the radiator when I originally ordered that ram I was shooting for 1866 mhz ram with best cas did not even think about clearance so when i got them. got them and was like crap they don't fit...then was like o the heat spreaders came off and they fit so that was just by the grace of god. lol so yes 3.9 mm ram height is the limit if I pull the radiator fully away from the ram playing with the fraction of space left the screws give the radiator to have play I can get the fan cable from the water cooler to slide between the ram and radiator so 4.0 mm would be right up against the radiator any higher ran them that and I'll have to hang the radiator to the top of the case with cable/zip ties or something to it kinda swings, and the radiator has about 9 mm to swing before the side door to the case will not close

Getting close to ordering parts so if anyone still have idea's for 3.9 mm height ram (40 being max and it rest against the radiator) Im still looking myself but some ram does not list it's height as the manufacturer did not think that would be a thing a person needed to know. So maybe someone else had this issue and physically have there hands on ram to know what it's size is. Ram that has been suggested is

1. CORSAIR Vengeance
2. G.SKILL Aegis
3. Kingston ValueRAM

If I had to go with anything atm it be this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233871&ignorebbr=1 feel free to make shure I don't make a mistake if you think there is better don't forget the 3.9 mm limitation for height

10 hours left at the time of this post before I start ordering parts. I'll check back before I hit the purchase button for any last minute requests for me.
