[SOLVED] g.skill ram wont run at 3000mhz or anywhere near that

Hello,

I am facing issue with my ram; whenever i set my ram speed to anywhere close to 2400 or higher, or turn on my XMP profile, my pc wont start and it will go in loop of restarting until the ram memory is set to default automatically {2133mhz}.

here are my specs:

CPU - R7 2700x with h100i v2 running on stock
RAM - gskil trident z rgb 4 x 8gb 3000mhz kit
storage - 2 tb WD hard drive and 512gb NVME
PSU- Corsair cx550m
GPU- gtx 1070 msi

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Bios is updated?
Have you tried with just 2 sticks?

Still unsure why people buy 4 sticks when there are more compatibility issues. 2x16GB FTW. As suggested above try 2 sticks.

There's probably some misinformation regarding performance floating around... plus the opinions of, 'it looks better when all the slots are filled.'
I can't sympathize with that, since I prioritize performance over looks.

Might just need a bit more voltage for 4 sticks too. Maybe try manual timings and set voltage to 1.4 for DRAM.
