G.Skill TridentZ RAM LED Stuck

So one of my sticks has an LED stuck at red... it totally ruins my color scheme as everything in my build is white-black-blue.. it has been weeks and I can't get rid of it.. I've tried absolutely everything.. from simple stuff like resetting and updating bios, reseating the RAM sticks and putting them in each slot (all possible combinations).. I reinstalled Windows, I tried using different software (ASUS, MSI, G.SKILL, etc.).. I even ended up buying the Taiphoon software to rewrite my SPD.. none of these helped.. I do have warranty, but if I return it, it will probably take weeks to get new RAM and I don't have that time (i already checked with the shop, I need my pc on a daily basis).. as far as I am concerned there has to be no goddamn lights I just want the red GONE

buy a used ddr4 ram with horrible timing for cheap, and RMA your nice ram, later on, you can keep the stick as a spare in the future or resell it. it's up to you.

you don't want to temper with the ram too much as it might ruin your warranty, if you don't have time to rma, you could use black electric tape to mask it.
