Question G-Sync compatible monitor

I'm looking at getting an MSI Optix MAG272CQR and have seen conflicting answers on whether or not its G-Sync compatible. Does anyone know for sure, although honestly anything would be an upgrade from the Dell 1907FP I'm using. Alternatively does anyone know a decently priced (under 400$) 27" Curved monitor that is for sure G-Sync compatible? Or is it worth it?

It’s not on the officially approved list by NVidia https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/

Now that could mean it’s not been tested or there was a reason it didn’t meet their minimum requirements. All you can try and do is find reviews of people who have tried it. There are monitors not on the official list that get good reviews using G-Sync.

I used to work for a monitor company. "Testing" and "Certification" costs money that REDUCES the profits. Therefore, we seldom did either.

Your method of asking if anyone knows if it works is probably the best way to find out.
