Can someone help figure out how to turn this off?

I read online to go to the Nvidia Control Panel, Click the Display tab on the top left tabs. And then click G-Sync indicator off. But I don't have that Display Tab.

I don't either as I don't have GSYNC, so possibly you need to reinstall the software?

1. set a new RESTORE POINT
2. backup via new SYSTEM IMAGE if possible (i.e Acronis True Image0

3. use DDU to remove video drivers: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

4. install latest NVidia drivers, but use custom/clean installation to remove older settings then see if that helps

Solution

No, Monitor for a Desktop.

That is what I can't get on my Control Panel.

What are your system specs? Do you have integrated graphics on your CPU in addition to your GPU card?

If so, you may have to either make changes to Gsync in the Intel graphics utility (Even if it's not being used) or change settings in the Intel graphics utility to make the GPU card/Nvidia utility the default.

Regardless, we need your system specs before we can really go further.

What monitor are you using, and what type of cable are you connected with?

DisplayPort.

So you are saying that on the left hand panel of Nvidia control panel there is NOTHING that says "Display" at all?

If you have a G-Sync monitor and G-Sync capable graphics card, you’ll need to do a bit of setup to get it all working. After hooking everything up, open the NVIDIA Control Panel on your PC by right-clicking your Windows desktop and selecting “NVIDIA Control Panel”, or launching the “NVIDIA Control Panel” application from your Start menu.

Head to Display > Set up G-SYNC. Ensure the “Enable G-SYNC” option is checked. By default, G-Sync is only enabled for games running in full screen mode. You’ll probably want to select the “Enable G-Sync for windowed and full screen mode” option instead. This will make G-Sync work even when you play games in windowed mode on your desktop, too. Click “Apply” after you change any options here.

If you have multiple monitors connected to your PC and only one of them supports G-Sync, the control panel will guide you through setting the G-Sync monitor as your primary display first.

Ughh.. So I opened my Control panel again, and the Display setting was there now. No not the left side. The top left, buy 'Desktop' and 'Help'.

As you can see in my other gyazo snip it, this option and menu wasn't there. But now it is. I changed nothing since taking that screenshot, besides install another game and play it lmao.

I'm so confused. But that fixed my problem, as the other person mentioned in their pre-edit post.
