Question g2 or newer g3?

I found a brand new 550 watt psu from Evga on ebay. It’s the g2 and it’s not very expensive when comparing it to some of the g3 models. How much of a difference would it make if i bought the g2 over the g3?

They're both good, feel free to get whichever is cheaper.

Edit: Why the overpriced 1080 though? You can almost get a 2080 for that price, or a 2070 for a fair bit less.
