G2A Origin account scam?

I just "bought" Sims 4 on G2A and in return I got access to an existing origin account with Sims 4 in it. The details provided were a login (some random gmail address), a password and an answer.

I can access the account. To secure it, I already registered the gmail address, which was available, and tried to reset the password, but I don't receive the "reset password" mail.

Is this a scam? Can you force origin accounts to send their password mails to a different mail address than the one you login with? Does the seller get the "reset my password" mail, and is he able to revoke my access to the account any time he wishes (so he can sell it once again)?
