G3258 Overclocking Issue

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to overclocking so please excuse me if I don't use the correct jargon and/or terminology.

My issue occurs once I have saved and exited from the BIOS following updating some of the settings during an overclocking attempt. Upon restart, I get stuck in a Windows "preparing automatic repair" loop. I can solve this issue by forcing a shut down, rebooting and heading back into the BIOS to revert all the features back to default.

I've tried playing round with the BIOS settings, varying clock speeds, voltage and such, but the same result occurs regardless. The only way in which I can actually launch the computer is by using all the default BIOS settings, leaving my G3258 stuck at 3.2GHz.

Specs
Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz
Asus H81I-Plus
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600
Western Digital Caviar Blue
Corsair CX500M
Windows 10 (64 bit)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
