G403 or G502?

I play CSGO casually and Overwatch COD kinda games like once twice a week but my main aim is to play better in csgo. Im confused between G403 and G502. Though there is no sense of comparison. But I can adjust in both shapes. Thing is which build quality is better, has better and responsive button and better reliability? If any other in that price range can be considered but excluding Mionix as its not available in my country. Just Razer Logi and Steelseries (though ss have poor components as scroll wheels and clicks die way to early)

As per usual, my hands are not your hands. I have 20cmx10cm ~ish hands, have fat fingers, and am super sweaty, making gripping most mice a royal PITA. Your best bet is to try them all in person, for at least a couple weeks, to give yourself a chance to adjust and see what feels best, whether you want a heavy mouse or a lighter mouse, smaller mouse or larger mouse, whether you like the more oval shape of the Hyperion mice/g pro, or the safer G403 shape, or a diamond like the G302/303.

It's just that of all the mice that Logitech has designed recently (so not including the ones reusing the old G400 shells), the 403 has the "safest shape".

I don't see how my hands cramping over the G402 makes me a fanboy. I didn't tell you that my hands...

Th G502 is insane! Ive had it since november ish of last year and it has treated me very well.
I heavily recommend it.

The feet are said to last 250 kilometres on the website. They will last a long time, trust me.

I'd personally go G403 wired, wireless if you're feeling adventurous.

I found the G402 and 502 both to be unwieldly heavy for most games, let alone its awkwardly sharp edges along its right side and weird thumb rest, despite the sensor being a tier above the rest. Sucks that I bought a Deathadder chroma a month before the elite and G403 released. 🙁

IIRC they've all got the same sensor, so it comes down to weight and shape. The G403 has a very safe shape and it's ligher than my DA. The G502 has a wonky narrow shape that my hand cramps over instantly, and is a good 30 grams heavier than my DA, if not more.

For FPS's, I'd point you towards the G403. Wireless. 😉

For really good, detailed reviews on these mice, check out the Rocket Jump Ninja on youtube. This guy singlehandedly made me think twice about my choice of mouse back when I ran a Chinese mouse with an ADNS9800 in it and tried to "git gud" at FPS games.

Wait, you get hand cramps on a g502? Sounds like fanboyism to me.

I saw Rocket Jump Ninja reviews and diff pros cons he told but still there is no review he said G502 is not good except from weight. He said its not for fps but G403 has scroll thingy issue. Im not sure what it is but both have same sensor and Omron buttons. Size wont be the issue i have 18.5x9.5 hand. Now i wanna decide what is best for flicking and reaction in fps and continuous lifting. (I like heavy mousr my hands are sensitive)

It has incredible ergonomics, one of the best sensors on the market, 12000dpi. Its a very good mouse.

I don't see how my hands cramping over the G402 makes me a fanboy. I didn't tell you that my hands also cramp quickly over the old naga (eww), SS sensei, every corsair branded mouse ever, and like every ambidextrous mouse ever, even the renowned FK2. I've done my fair share of trying mice, and have found that for me, my hand likes the shape of the IE 3.0 , Rival 300, and this cheap chinese Redragon Perdition the most. The DA is still relatively new to me, since I've only had it for a tad over a month, but have had the other three for at least a couple years, and the IE 3.0 for... forever (found it in a dumpster of all places). I want to get my hands on the g403 wireless next. I hear good things about that Logitech wireless technology.

TL;DR Try the mice for yourself, and take everything we say with a grain or two of salt. None of us can tell you how you will feel about a specific mouse. And none of us should tell you how you should feel about a specific mouse.

I got both at home, been using G502 for years, just bough G403. I have 19,5cm hands, G502 is a very nice mouse but its a little too small and not wide enough for me to palm correctly, also I've never really used the extra features (DPI changing, additional buttons, sometimes I've used the fast-scroll). The biggest problem is the weight, moving from Deathadder I had to instantly buy a hard plastic mouse pad (Steelseries 4HD) to make it glide properly, on old razer cloth pad it was just feeling heavy and I had issues with the tracking. Obviously had to change pads every year (both new cheap on aliexpress, they work fine).
Finally gave in, gave G502 to my wife and got G403, couldn't be happier, its very light, perfect to palm, no extra features, finally can go back to a large (40x32) cloth pad.

So...if you're a gamer I'd recommend G403 instantly, if you have larger hands (18cm+) I'd recommend G403. If you have smaller hands (~17cm like my wife), do more office work or like the extra features buy G502...Mind G502 is heavy with 125 grams, G403 is just 85....its a major difference.

Im in a very big dillema right now deciding between a corsair m45 or the logitech g403. Anyone who has used both or atleast one of them can give me any advice? My current mouse is a Genius x-scroll. And i think im a palm gripper..

sir m using G403 since Jan and its super duper Perfect!!!! Palm and claw as per RocketJumpNinja according to preferred size this mouse is good!!! Best sensor and appropriate lift off distance with Good Material used on outside and WITH NO RATTLING SENSOR and no Scroll problems!!! I would prefer that on Corsair! TBH i havent used corsair m45 or any other but m pretty sure Logitech makes excellent products and this one is just their A game!!!!

I know I am extremely late to this thread but I would still like to answer it being ranked SMFC within CSGO. I have had the original G502 and the G502 Proteus Spectrum for about 3 years. I have recently moved to the G403 and love the G403 a lot more for a few reasons. In a game like CSGO, you need fast reactions and with fast reactions, you need to be able to move your mouse quickly. It was not so much of a problem for me to move the G502 around, but after a while, you start to wonder whether you would do better with a lighter mouse. The G502 is a pretty heavy mouse coming in at around 168 grams while the G403 is about 90 grams. After switching to the G403 and feeling the weight difference, I knew that the G403 was the mouse for me. Though I really do love the ergonomic aspect of the G502, I also found that I do not really need all 11 programmable buttons. Being able to have the two buttons on the side of the mouse is enough for me, which is what I was given by the G403.
