G4400 VS I3 6100 Please help

i have a question im looking at a Intel pentium g4400 but in the future im upgrading but i want to know does g4400 bottelneck the r9 380 and the 16 gigs of ram and what gpu is better sapphire r9 380 or asus turbo gtx 960 and what socket does the i3 6100[ihope that its lga 1151] and is the i3 6100 good for editing like it would not crash or something im saying alot of and.

The i3 6100 is also LGA 1151. If you're looking to play modern games, I strongly recommend you get the i3 if you can afford it and not bother with the Pentium. Modern games tend to struggle with the Pentium due to its low core count and lack of hyperthreading which can help make up for that. The Pentium would be a good deal worse in video editing for similar reasons.

The R9 380 usually benches a bit better than the GTX 960, but that can vary from game to game. The R9 380 gets 4GB of VRAM as a standard feature, while the GTX 960 is a 2GB card, though there are lots of 4GB variants of it. If your editing software uses GPU acceleration, you're going to want to see if it supports OpenCL or CUDA. If it only supports CUDA, you'd want to go...

but i the r9 380 went over my budget so im thinking of the R7 370 4g i saw some youtube vids about it and it preforms great and its cheaper so is that good.
