G4560 + 1060 3GB - 400W old PSU is ok?

I bought new GPU 1060 3GB paired with G4560. Is 400W old PSU ok? I had R7 265 and everything was OK? Will everything be OK now with 1060 3GB?

some would say if it aint broke dont fix it. but me i would say 'not recommended'. make sure you have enough amps on the 12v rail for the 1060.

What make and model PSU? A 400w sticker doesn't tell us anything. How old is it as PSU's do deteriorate over time, lower quality units deteriorate much faster.

Just replace it, if it's a old unknown brand PSU it's not worth risking damaging that 1060 3gb or any other part. This CXM is plenty of power for the system and is a great price after MIR.

The PSU is the heat of your pc, it powers everything and is the only component that if it fails can damage your whole PC. Gaming puts the psu under high load for long periods of time, get a decent quality unit. You are not going to get a decent psu in that price range, how much is a Corsair CXM 450 in your country?

i had old Mercury mkp 4400 for 7years, still no problem
