I've heard from some people that the B150M model motherboards (specifically MSI's B150M Pro-VD) now support the Kaby Lake architecture, after having BIOS support for it updated out of manufacturing, and the old ones without the update having been flushed out of the market by buyers. I wanted to ask how reputable this information is? And, if someone's already asked about this, could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks.

No no no no, what I'm saying is that some people have been saying that the B150M has started coming updated out of the box, since most of the old versions of it before Kaby Lake have been flushed out of the market by people who bought them. People are saying that it now comes with the update straight up. I was asking how reputable that information was.

Haven't seen anything like it. But the B250s aren't expensive, and sometimes cheaper than the B150s. I honestly think it would be pointless to get one at this point.

first off with any new mb it going to be pot luck on the bios do to when the stock came in or has been sitting at a wearhouse. you would have to call the pre sales see the bios on the mb or buy a mb like asus that have usb flash back that you can flash the mb bios from a usb stick without the cpu in it.
