Is it true that the g4440 runs cooler than the g4560 (stock heatsinks for both)? I want the cpu which runs the coolest, but also would like a consistent 70+ fps in vanilla minecraft. I have a gtx 1050 ti 4gb, and I need a cpu that will run cool while playing a vanilla minecraft server. Which CPU would run coolest (preferably under 60c while gaming), and which one would you recommend? Thank you.

If your last cpu ran that hot you were eithet using the wrong cooler or didn't install the cooler properly. Or it was really old and needed to be cleaned and/or repasted.

If you have to choose between those two, definitely get the g4560. Temperature will not be an issue. Although I'm not sure why you are focusing on last gen chips.
Why is is so important to get the CPU that runs the coolest?

Assuming both of those CPUs comes with the same stock cooler (probably the case), the G4560 will likely run a bit hotter as it has hyperthreading (meaning it has 4 threads instead of 2 like the G4400), and is clocked a bit higher. The G4560 is the superior CPU by a decent margin. Do you already have an LGA 1150 mobo, or why are you only considering those two CPUs?

My last cpu ran super hot (100c+) and eventually stopped working. I would get a motherboard that would work with either cpu. So do you think they’d have around the same performance with my gtx 1050 ti 4gb running minecraft? 1080p, 12 render distance, 70+ fps? Even though the g4440 is slower, should I get it because it runs cooler, or do you think the temperature difference would be negligible? I don’t want it to ideally get over 60-70c.
