i am having a hell of a time with a celeron 1.4 on this board i know it should do a 133mhz fsb easily. but the board refuses to let me mod the v-core settings so i can set the speed but the chip acts like its not getting enough juice and dies at boot up. i am grumped because not even the dumb easy tune software will let me change this setting.

Beer and fragging can never be one.

Crashman has a motherboars section which explains what you need to do.

Just a note ro let you know I have the same board & my manual says max chip size suggested is 1.2GB, this may be your problem.

I had exactly the same problem with you, with a Gigabyte GA-6VTXE motherboard and 1.4 GHz Celeron processor!

I could do voltage mods easily enough, but it would never let me do more than 112 FSB. Any higher, it would crash no matter what voltage I used. :frown:

See my posting and it's responses <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=659550#659550" target="_new">here</A>.
