The best I would recommend would be any up to 1050 or 1060 6GB, even RX 470/570 would work perfectly fine.

Which PSU do you have, brand and model?
Sorry It's a Gigabyte, Um refresh my memory what is a PSU
GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ that is the model name unless I am leaving anything else out let me know also on what that psu is.

PSU stands for power supply. It's one of two absolutely crucial pieces of information to answer your question that we don't yet have from you. The other is the GPU you have now; it's futile to approach the question of what to upgrade to when we don't know what you currently have.

Need the exact model of the power supply, not just the wattage. There are very good and very poor power supplies at most wattages. You'll have to physically look at it.

The HD 6670 is a very basic GPU, so there is in fact some room to upgrade.

If you can't identify the exact power supply, then upload to an image site, the chart that ought to be on the side of the power supply. It should look something like this:

The power supply's not very good, but it will likely be OK with a GPU that doesn't require supplementary power. That ought to be fine since your specs can't handle a high-end GPU anyway. Something like a 750 Ti or a 1050 would be the way to go, I think. The 1050 Ti would work OK as well without replacing the power supply, but I don't think I'd get anything more powerful than the first two GPUs unless you have an imminent upgrade to a more modern platform.

Ok would you happen to know the full name of it so I can look it up. Plus this is one I found I assume will not work Radeon RX 570 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB ?

I would not use a low-end power supply with any GPU that requires a power connector. If you want a 570/580, you'll also need to replace with a quality power supply, which is never a bad idea. Ultra was once one of the better sellers of power supplies, but they mostly went down the junk path in the late 2000s and what PSUs are still found are not recommended.
