Question GA-78LMT-USB3 Lights and Fans on but no ones at home. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi there I am having a problem with my PC I built it almost 10 years ago and it has been running absolutely fine until I was burgled and rather than steal it they decided to smash it up.

It lights up fans work, but there is no beep and no display. I have checked all connections and taken out the ram but nothing works.

I’m running;

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 750 Ti WindForce2 OC 4 GB

Corsair Vengeance 2x 4 GB DDR3

Corsair Vengeance 2x 8 GB DDR3

Corsair Vengeance 2x 8GB DDR3

Corsair Vengeance 2x 4 GB DDR3

I thought the Corsair CX430M was top as I’ve just ordered that 🙁

CX430M? or CX450M...because that's the top-rated budget PSU in the tier listing. I think 430W (or 450) in a quality unit should be quite adequate for your system, but it probably won't suffice should you want to upgrade later on. I'd make sure it's the CX450m though.

RM550x is the top rated mid-tier.

I was considering getting a new motherboard as obviously this one isn’t really compatible with windows 11 as isn’t EFI let alone able to safe boot.

But it still managed too and play all the games I wanted. But I will do a search on here for recommendations of cheap motherboards.

Not mentioned...but if you had some break-in (burglary) and damage it couldn't you claim this on insurance?

I didn’t have household insurance as never thought would happen

Sorry about that...and you probably lost more than just the computer too. The two times they broke into my house the damage they did was far more than losses.

Yes can’t understand the motive of breaking in to just smash things up. It’s funny though as they took all my clothes my tv ps3 and ps4 luckily I had my ps5 with me but pissed about ps3 as was the original 60gb.
