GA-790FXTA-UD5 Question and Review

I know I sound like a huge newbie when I ask this question but here it goes.

Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-790FXTA-UD5

When I connect the PSU to this board I know I have to connect the 1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector.

But, do I have to connect the 1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector as well and if so, is a EPS 12V v2.91 connection sufficient?

you probably figured it out already, but yes you hook up the 8 pin connector at the the top left of the board.
