After having rebooted the PC following the installation of a new PCI
card, the mother board is buzzing constantly and the RAM led is on
I have unplugged the PCI card and rebooted again.
Still this buzzer and Led on.
I suspect an electric shock having caused the problem.

However, the BIOS starts normally, Windows also.
Temperature is OK
Everything is functioning... but I have found no way to reset this
alarm.
Any help is welcome.

If you have more than 1 RAM stick take 1 out at a time to see which is the
culprit.
If not, try new RAM, if you cant, try with no RAM just to see if it still
comes on -
maybe its not the RAM.

In most Gigabyte boards, the Memory LED indicates nothing more than the fact
that the board has power applied & memory sticks shouldn't be messed with.
The LED doesn't indicate a problem (unless power is on and the LED doesn't
illuminate)

The beeping is also caused (on this board) by software the resets the
hardware monitoring chipset (such as SiSoft Sandra and MotherBoard
Monitor 5). It's a fluke with this board and the 81k1100. What type
of card did you add? Perhaps the drivers it uses are chatting on the
ISA or SMB bus and causing the same problem.
