[SOLVED] GA AB-350 Gaming3 Posting, but no visuals

I have a Gigabyte AB-250 Gaming 3 motherboard, with a Ryzen 3 1200 CPU installed and Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 MHz RAM (2x4 GB)

The system posts (I hear a single normal short beep from the speaker, and the hard drives spin up, but nothing is ever displayed on HDMI output.

I've tried:
1) Two different HDMI monitors
2) I want to use the onboard video, but just to check to see if it was fine, I've plugged in a video card, to try HDMI input, nothing there either.
3) I've taken out the RAM and it predictably gives no beep on the speaker
4) I've checked the internal cabling dozens of times, and it all seems to be hooked up correctly.
5) Removed the CMOS battery and left for 10+ minutes and tried again. Same results

So, I'm feeling that one aspect of my system is broken or installed improperly, but I'm not sure which. If the system is booting with a beep code telling me that everything is okay, I'm inclined to believe that the motherboard is fine.

Is there anything else I can check to be sure?

this cpu need a gpu on the board to work also ram is in the right slot on board did you try the cmos reset .

That's why I both tried the onboard video and a video card, neither worked. The RAM is in the correct slots (1 & 3) and I did try the CMOS reset. Still nothing.

could you test the gpu in another system to see if it gives video .

With a Ryzen 1200 there is no 'on-board' video. That is just a connector there, gathering dust. No value whatsoever except to confuse you.

You can only get video output from a discrete GPU.

then i would recheck all wiring and made sure you did put in the cpu correctly and you did not bend a pin on it .

I would bet that the motherboard is bad. These Ryzen motherboards, regardless of makes, have a rather high failure rate.
