just grabbed a WD SN750 500GB NVMe for 70$ on amazon. feels good man. slap it in, cant get the mobo to notice it. feels bad man.
i have my main boot drive SSD 500bg, a 1tb and 2 tb HDD plugged into my sata ports.
there are 6 slots in my mobo for sata, the upper 0 and 1 slots are empty, then the bottom 0,1,2,3 ports have drives in 1,2 and 3.
i checked my mobo for nvme gen 3 compatablity, tried reseating the m.2 to get the mobo to recognize it. nothing is working.
i didnt know which of the sata slots get overridden with the NVMe being used, but i think its that first two on the northern part of the board. i would love some advice to try and get the device noticed.
in bios menu there is a option for nvme enabled but the nvme config menu shows no NVMe devices.
i updated my mobo bios to install a 3rd gen ryzen 3600 a couple months ago. (shouts out to covid money for the upgrades)
maybe this should be in harddrives but i feel like the problem is with the mobo.
