In the manual: "What is DualBIOSTM?
Motherboards that support DualBIOS have two BIOS onboard, a main BIOS and a backup BIOS. Normally, the system works on the main BIOS. However, if the main BIOS is corrupted or damaged, the backup BIOS will take over on the next system
boot and copy the BIOS file to the main BIOS to ensure normal system operation."

Are you giving it enough time to complete that process?

unfortunately my mb GA-EP31-DSRL (rev. 1.0) is not dual bios, it is virtual dual bios.
that means it doesn't have 2 bios chip but 1.
and the bios ,as gigabyte claims, saves a copy in a hiden area on the hard disk
but nothing happens, black screen ,non of f keys works , no post screen🙁
in the link you send me before (http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=372&pid=2964)
it speaks about GA-EP31-DS3L (rev. 2.1) which truly has dual bios
