Hello all,

I have the above motherboard, currently running with a Q6600 Core 2 Quad. I'm contemplating upgrading my system and buying a new graphics card and possibly CPU. I would rather keep the same mother board if possible.

I was wondering what CPU people on this forum would suggest as being the best CPU I could get for a reasonable price, for this motherboard. By reasonable price, I mean around the £150 mark.

IMO your CPU is still very good, you can OC it to 3.0 GHz easily - an aftermarket CPU cooler would be needed for that. Get an universal one that you can reuse in your next builds.
