Let me second Spinach's suggestion. After reading it above (albeit now over 3 months later) I went to that site and a tech quickly resolved my issue with the DS3L and Ballistix memory. I searched the board and found good info which I tried - and I think it helped - but did not resolve the issue. But it enabled me to frame my post, report what I had done based on others' posts, and provide the data needed by the tech. I had a response that solved my problemin one shot and in less than 2 hours - and on the 4th of July no less.
