Dose any one have any comments about theses boards.
It appears from the GIGABYTE web site that both boards are identical except the GA-X38-DQ6 has Quad Bios and Quad-Triple Phase Power. With overclocking in mined do you feel that these 2 extra features are worth the extra 10% price?

i personaly own ga x38 ds5.i strongly recomended.i do not try any crazy oc but i easely put my q6600 at 3.2ghz with 4 sticks kingmax 1066 ddr.if u plan to buy some ddr3 memory then ga x38t dq6 is the right thing for you.but if u plan to go with ddr2 the option is x38 dq6 or x38 ds5.the diferrence is dq6 has 2 ethernet port and 2 mosfet per line (12/6) and ds5 has 6 .but both boards have 6 phase design for suply the processor with electric power.in rest is identically ,in design and functionality.so either one u choose is all good motherboars.but personally i think this is not the best time for ddr3. cheers (excuse my poor english)

the ga x38 dq6 is ddr2 the ddr3 model is ga x38t dq6 im not sure o n what differances there are but im planning to get the ga x38 ds4

DS5 differ from the DQ6 in that the the DQ6 comes with a "krazycool" on the bottom of the board that speads heat away from the back of the board. If nothing else it hinders 3rd party coolers from being bolted on. It also has 4 bios and the power regulator thing. Other than that. Its the same as the DS5. Personally i dont think those features are worth it. I'd go with a DS5.
