Hi I am having the following issue: does anyone know of a solution?
I have a Samsung U28D590D running on its full resolution (3840x2160 @60Hz) using a Displayport v1.2 cable (http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cables/DisplayPort/55419-MDP-DP-02-MM)
I am using 2x 7970 in crossfire: (Gigabyte GV-R797TO-3GD 3GB)
Everything runs fine when I am running application on desktop. The moment I turn on a Full screen 3D application, for example like the "PCI Express Render Test", or ANY game, I get massive amounts of purplish screen flicker. At ANY resolution.
The only way to get rid of this is by disabling crossfire, and when I do that, all games run fine. But, then I have an expensive coaster installed in my gaming rig.
I read (here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2165690/samsung-u28d590d-sapphire-290x-issues.html) that it might be a DP cable issue, and replacing it with an Amazon linked cable in that thread might work. (ordered in, expected Aug 12th - global shipping to Oz!)
But I am also reading on various sites that this may be an AMD driver issue... Any help with resolving my issue would be much appreciated.
