[SOLVED] Game Artifacts GPU related?

I recently got an RMA card replacement for a GTX 1080Ti SC2 after the one i had previously couldn't run stock clock speeds.

This card runs fine except when in certain games i get these same pixels/artifacts.
In Desktop there isn't any artifacts/pixels form what i can tell.
They never showed up with previous card, but my system never ran it's full potential being that the GPU was holding it back somewhat.
I have tested the iGPU which is an Intel 630 and from what i can tell these artifacts do NOT show up.
I've tried seeing if it's the motherboard placement,
Tried fresh install of WINDOWS running MSI afterbuner with and without, still the same.

My Build is as follows if it helps, had this for about a year.

CPU: Intel 8600k w/ h110 corsair AIO cooler
MB: Asus Prime Z370-A latest current bios
Graphics Card: GTX 1080Ti SC2 updated drivers as of now
HDD: SAMSUNG EVO NVME for Windows
PSU: 750watt G2 EVGA Supernova


HEAT is not an issue what so ever LOAD is in the 59c range for the GPU and 50c for the CPU

I would use Gpu id and see what speeds it is running at. Artifacts are usually an overclocked gpu issue, or vram problem. Try these tests see what you find. If it is a mess I would rma it. https://www.raymond.cc/blog/having-problems-with-video-card-stress-test-its-memory/

Another video showing these artifacts. My bios settings are default nothing is OC'd, once again iGPU seems to not show these artifacts but being integrated graphics this game might be hard to run lol

Is your gpu overclocked?

If Your numbers are correct the gpu clock is fine but your memory clock is way overclocked it should be around 1490 not 5500.

I am running stock clocks for the GPU right now. No point overclocking when you barely get a decent trade off in performance.

I can play Forza Motorsport 7 at 4k no issues. The other game i've had the same issues is 7 Ways to Die and those graphic settings are on the highest at 1920x1080 resolution

Sorry was going by what the OSD had in Precision X1. Its around that range not entirely sure.

Did you use any of those tests to check out your gpu? Also use gpuid and post the first page, it will give you good information on your gpu.

Some of those tests just couldn't run either the screen froze or nothing would show even after 10 minutes

Try uninstalling precision x1 and run the gpu without it. See if you still get the artifacts.

Seems like your rma replacement card was an rma itself. Send it back.
