I'm having a problem when playing World of Warcraft on my MSI GT70. WoW is installed on drive D because drive C is an SSD but too small with Windows 8 already on there. Very frequently the game pauses for a second or two, for example when opening a bag, looting an item, opening the map etc. It appears to me that the D drive is stopped and to get the item's icon the drive has to spin up before the game can access it. This pause is really noticeable and very annoying, it's never happened on on other laptops that I've played on. I checked the Windows 8 power management and I can only find a single setting covering "Hard Disks" which is set to 10 minutes. Any ideas how to stop this pause happening?
Many thanks
