Game Crashing with R9 270x

I have a R9 270x that I just bought and when ever I start up a Source gane its white screen and Payday 2 when ever i get into a game it crashes with no error pop up.But BF4 worked once

uninstall all amd drivers and then use driver sweeper to make sure there all gone then install catalyst 13.11 beta8

try downclocking the card. first downclock the core and if it still happens then downclock the memory and if it still happens try them both downclocked.

I have the free version so theres no windowed option
