8GB should be fine. I'd say just upgrade to the 1050Ti (without any power pin connectors) to ensure you don't get a card your power supply can't accommodate. Or you can look for the connectors or let us know what power supply you have to see if you can add a powered card to the mix. But for most people, the 1050Ti will be good for a few years at 1080P. Good cost on the card, too.
Thanks il try i turnd down a few but get lots of 3 t 4 second lags n get killed loads cheers il try medium as im on high at moment it was on epic before lol thanks again

Have you got any advice as to what upgrades i could do for future gaming i have a 1tb hard drive and 500v battery just dont know much about stuff really and goin to save for some upgrades just not sure what id be looking at

The 4460 should be ok, maybe a little rough at times but not worth the cost of upgrading unless you find a good deal on a 4790k. Even the 4690k will not be worth the upgrade since it's a clock increase only. A 4790k will at least add threads.

More importantly is your GPU. The 750Ti is a few years old. It's still good, but not if you want to crank textures on a demanding title like ARK. Hell, even my 970 I dial back to ensure fluid frame rates.

Best drop in replacement is the 1050Ti. If you can, though, the 1060 is very nice, but costs about $100 more (for the 6GB version).

Also, how much RAM are you running?
