Question Game loding time on SSD is the same as HDD

Hello

I recently bought a SSD for my desktop an installed steam and a few games there, the problem is that i am getting the same loading times as before when the games where installed on the HDD.

When i look for the game installation folder, its located in the SSD.

Did you replace the HDD with the SSD or did you just migrate the game library to the SSD? Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your platform.

Motherboard: Tuf Z390 plus gaming
Ram: 16gb
SSD/HDD: Seagate Sata 3 HDD 1Tb+ SSD samsung 860 500gb
GPU: Gtx 980ti
PSU: Aerocool KCAS 850W
Chassis:
OS: Windows 10

I didnt replace the HDD, i added the SDD
I uninstalled steam and the games, then reinstalled them on the SSD.

Well most games are made for consoles so they are made to use bluray speeds.

Often game physics is tied to FPS so if the game is locked at 30 or 60 FPS it will only load that fast.

If it's an online game, talking with the server will make more difference than the actual loading time.

really shouldn't matter as he's referring to load times so we're talking reads and not writes

and I don't think the QVO comes in < 1TB capacity
